Grinding sound on record

Hi all,
On my turntable my records keep making a grinding noise during quiet sections (such as lead in groove). I will provide videos at end. The noise isn’t bothering me as the music sounds perfect but I was just wondering it was damaging my records. My turntable is a dd-2250 omintronic with a ortifon reloop Concorde stylus. The turntable is fairly old but the stylus is brand new. Btw I have two of these tt and two of the stylus and they both have the same problem. It is hardly audible when the volume is at zero and I have to put my ear right against it. It also increases when I increase the volume. I took the platter off to see if there was anything obstructive and there wasn’t. However when I turned on the tt with the platter off there was a loud sound that was similar to the grinding noise but it stopped when I put the platter back on.
These are the links.
as I’ve said before the noise doesn’t bother me I just don’t want to be damaging my records.
Thanks

Sounds like it could be a Bearing or motor problem which is getting transmitted through to the record, remove the platter and make sure there is no play in the bearing and there is no debris between the bearings and motor windings, if all clear than you will need to take it to a service centre to have it fixed.
Don't leave or ignore it, as it could get worse and cause even more damage which will cost you even more to get repaired.
