I need advice regarding stereo music on my Home Cinema setup.

I am using a Sony STRD 5300 ES driving Dynaudio Audience 72's. Had to sell my stereo amp a while ago.Using a Lyngdorf cd1 as Stereo source. The sound is listenable but obviously not to my satisfaction. Will the addition of a power amp like a Rotel RB 1070 make a difference? I cannot split the system as I do not have enough room to do so. Can anyone maybe make a suggestion? The rest of the system is a B&W ASW 750 sub and Dynaudio centre. Dvd source is Sony DVp 9100 ES. No blue ray player yet.

If your AV amps got front pre-outs then buy a new stereo amp, if not buy a new AV amp and stereo amp. Sorry to be blunt but it's horses for courses.
If nothing else I've bumped this and someone else may have a comment

I'd agree that the simplest and best solution is definitely to use pre-outs to connect to a stereo amp, though you did say you had to sell your stereo amp, so buying a new one may not be an option...buying a new AV amp is probably out of the qustion too, as you'd still struggle to get great stereo sound unless you spent a shedload of cash.
