on some setups i see the front speakers are turned in and on others thay face straight ahead.is this down to size of room(ie bigger room speakers turned in)or would it make no difrance.

my room is about 4metes across and i have mine pointing in.on a smaller room like mine would i get a better stereo afect? with speakers straigt on.

just a case of playing around abit then.ok thanx i will c how it sounds when i get 5.

A few weeks ago I checked out the video on this site (http://whathifi.com/Video/) about 'How to Get the best from your hi-fi". They talked about toe-in. It's worth checking out.

It can depend on the speaker and your listening position, but most benefit from a bit of toe-in - I'd expect yours to simply because of how far apart they are (4m is quite a lot).

I used to have mine toed in due to their position in the room, but having altered other stuff in the room I now have the speakers facing forward; irrespective of listening position it sounds sooo much better. Of course it could be something to do with the relative angle of the sofa/book-shelf/plant-pot/spiderswebontheceiling etc etc!
