The fact there is only one dealer listed in the UK obviously doesn't help. (Wonder who that is....)
Must say I have always been interested in these.

John Larson passed on in July and they announced that production of new speakers would stop until further notice. Wonder what happens now.

Waiting to find out. Even if they ceased trading, someone will buy it, as it has a rich historical design going back to the 60s with Sonab, and I'm not aware of any other company using the ortho-acoustic designs. If someone could take the existing models and implement them into a great looking, domestically acceptable box, I think they'd be on to a winner. Unfortunately, John didn't get the right distribution in place, despite my recommendation to him.

It's mad that small speakers are still sometimes called "bookshelf" speakers. I have a pair of Tannoy's that are tiny but are useless on a shelf (I tried). They need about 60cm space behind them and a serious amount of toe-in.

Maybe that's where we need to carefully in applying either "standmount" or "bookshelf" in any descriptions.
