OK, we've had the albums people most enjoy, let's now have the albums that hit them where it hurts as it happens. Forget the classics, the cliches lets get to what people really enjoy listening to.

This companionship is currently dampening my velvets...

Swooning at the knees.

Actually the tracks should be applied: Tides of the Moon.

Next as so screamingly worth a mentioning as I listen is Ludovico Einaudi with his Fuori dal Mondo. It breaks my heart.

Nurse! I think he's having another episode of the Shakespeareans...

Has to be Barry Manilow's greatest hits. Can't describe the pain the only time I heard it.

Every time I hear Yes' "Turn of the Century" - brilliant song.

New Radicals - Maybe you've been brainwashed too
The Finn Brothers - Everyone is here
Calexico - Garden Ruin

Songs that hit me are:

Suicide (Barclay James Harvest, from the album 'Octoberon')

Interstellar Overdrive (Pink Floyd, the extended live version)

The Shadow (Mary Black, from the album 'No Frontiers')

Desperado/Doolin Dalton (Eagles, from the album 'Desperado')

Wild Is The Wind (David Bowie)

Hurt - Johnny Cash. Is there a more gut wrenching track ( or video ) than that?

Craig Armstrong, Balcony Scene, I find it very moving.
Arvo Part, Spiegel im Spiegel, stunning.

I think we have found possibly the two most heartful tracks in the Universe.ÿ

Eva Cassidy - Over The Rainbow.

Beautiful voice and a tragic story....gets me every time.
