The series recording functions are only as reliable as the EPG metadata. The BBC sometimes miscode shows of this type so that it looks as if the different regions are actually different episodes of a single series, rather than (effectively) different series. The Foxsat then naturally tries to schedule them all and they conflict with each other. Whether or not the algorithm should be smart enough to (give you the option to) ignore links not on the originating channel is another matter, of course.
One way to fix this may be to delete the 9xx entries for the regions you're not in (i.e., that are not the ones your 10x channel is aliased from) from the EPG altogether, see section 8.1 of the manual.
Another, which only works if the programme is of regular time, duration, and frequency, and isn't likely to be bumped randomly in the schedule by e.g., tennis overruns, is to set a manual repeat recording, see section 6.3/2. New Reservations.
Some channels lower down the food chain, including radio, may not provide series data reliably or at all, and even major broadcasters sometimes miscode repeats or +1 timeshifts as part of the main run.
