freesat and project canvas

i ditched sky in june and purchased a foxsathd pvr which i am very happy with with bbc iplayer in beta and a promise of itv player to come

i would have thought this box would be ready for project canvas but i now see news articles which point to a new box being required!

if this is the case i don't think i wil bother anytime soon

this box has a cam slot so i'm waiting for news on this too

Yes, you're right mechelle, Project Canvas (or YouView as it's now called) will require a new set-top box. They're not expected on sale until next year.

The cam slot is their purely because in 'non-Freesat' mode the Humax can be used as a non platform specific/generic satellite receiver.
