Floorstanders or wall mounted?

hope someone can help.

playing around with ideas of how to upgrade/change system at the mo, had my current set-up for 3 years, and this might sound a bit thick

Are floor standing speakers a better option for front speaker on 5.1 as apposed to wall mounted (which I currently have)

at the moment my sub (Mordaunt Short 308 avant) does a good enough job, but with floorstanders with I get any more punch in the bass department?

Not a daft question at all. Yes, floorstanders will generally offer more bass depth than wall-mount speakers, so it might well be worth considering an upgrade for your front speakers.

Which speakers are you running front and rear at the moment?

About £150 and under for a set of floorstanders. I know it doesn't sound a lot. told you i was on a budget. any ideas?

Well these are a squeak over budget at £170, but would seem the obvious match.

Or well within your budget these will give you all the weight you could want.
