We've just had a water leak from our water meter which has got through into the living room. The carpet is soaked, but I've run the speaker cables for my rear speakers under the carpet and it's the area under the rear speakers which has got wet. As the sheaving is all intact, should everything be OK once I've got it all dried out?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, should be fine if the sheathing is intact.

I don't foresee any issues so long as the insulation is in tact.
