FIIO E7 headphone amplifier; what connections ?

I have just ordered a FIIO E7 headphone amplifier following review in What hi fi. I am looking to use it with my Toshiba laptop and a pair of Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones . However it is not clear what type of USB lead I will need between the FIIO and the Toshiba. My laptop outputs via TYPE A usb (thinner flat end). My Wireworld 5 Ultravioet is Type A to Type b and fine for my Cyrus amp but is it going to fit the FIIO ?

The E7 uses the same connector as the E5 - mini-b.

The USB cable comes with the E7, it uses it to charge up and transfer the sound.
