anyone know this programme? ive just downloaded an itunes track in m4a (?), i didnt think it would play in wmp but it did. then i noticeed this running in the taskbar. dont even know how i got it, does it come automatically with something i may have downloaded? i see on wiki it says it decodes FLACs, so presumably they should be fine in wmp too?

to play flac files properly u also need the directshow flac filter from here

http://xiph.org/dshow/

Install ffdshow, and the filter. Then in the ffdshow audio decoder configuration program, scroll down the list of formats and change the Flac decoder to libavcodec and away u go.

aliEnRIK:usually comes with the KLITE CODEC pack

Cheers! I want to convert my apple downloads anyway as whenever i select a number of songs to play in wmp, it only takes one song as the apple ones confuse it somehow. Though they do play if you tell them to play individually.

Anyway ignore me im just thinking aloud now.

G'night all.
