External SATA socket on back of SKY+ HD box

My Sky+ HD box has an upgradeddrive of 1TB, however, is it possible to connect a further drive to the external SATA socket? indeed any network storage via the ethernet connection?

No, both the Sata and ethernet ports are redundant/disabled!
