Epos Epic 2 vs. MA BX2

Simple question - are the Epic 2's worth the extra £150 or so? I'm leaning towards them as I have a large listening room and feel that their extra size will help to fill it more effectively than a smaller speaker like the BX2. Amp is NAD C326BEE.

I think that is also a question of taste and your ascociated equipment. The Epos will be sounding sweeter, less present, but might be more likeable in the end. But then again i am a big Epos-fan!

Thanks for the replies. I'm increasingly feeling that the Epic 2 would be a good choice for me.

As regards associated equipment, my two sources are a Marantz CD6002 CDP and a Squeezebox. Speaker cable is Chord Carnival Silver Screen.

I'm slightly wary of a speaker that would over-emphasise the well-documented bass of the NAD amp - but on the other hand, I don't expect to have this amp forever so wouldn't want to base speaker choice purely on the characteristics of the NAD.
