I use them in a slightly smaller (and cluttered) room than yours - 4m x 3m, driven by an Audiolab 8000s amp and used with DAC Magic / lossless files, Pro-ject Xpression II turntable with Cambrideg Audio 640p phono stage. Have them wired with Chord Carnival Silver speaker cable

Sound is very well balanced and amazingly clear and detailed for such small, cheap boxes. Bass is limited ( as expected with such small enclosures) but is tight and tuneful. They excel with acoustic music and even make C86 jangly indie sound good (a lot of which is bedroom recorded with zero production). Very good with Indie rock as well - Radiohead's last album sounds great on vinyl through these speakers.

I use mine on sand filled Atacama Nexus stands and close to the rear walls which helps with the bass. They fill my room easily even at moderate volume and would say that you should have no problems either.
