This particular track doesn't do the same for me but dependent on my mood I often get the same strong emotional response to music as you do... I think we all do on here, it's the beauty of good music/sound. The thought occurs though - my daughter has started using my setup to listen to music whilst we are out - can't be a bad thing.I fear that some part of this is lost to those who aren't as old/farty enough as most of us are, and who don't care about sound quality.

That's a given. Her nickname as a toddler was Bweeb, because one of her first bits of 'scribble-speak' was 'bweebweebwee'. The previous Arcam amp had the facility to choose a welcome message - mine was 'keep away, Bweeb'....not at all if she treats it with respect....
