Edifier S2000 MKIII vs R2000DB

Hi, guys! I actually have the Edifier R2000DB and I am thinking a lot about the Edifier S2000 MKIII. How do they sound ? Will they sound much better? On my current R2000DB speakers, the bass is a bit flat, so I'm wondering if the S2000 ones have more powerful bass. I assume so when the S2000 is the higher tier or am I mistaken? If I'm going to spend $500, I want it to be worth it. Your opinions will help me.
