something went wrong wiht the frist post.

I got a turntabl lasst week (VPI Traveller) and start to buy some vinyls. I gt a phono pre amp from a firend and now I am looking for my own.

would be the EAR 846 a good option?

Hi Cno!

Unfortunatley not, i got a lot if good comments on the EAR 834P wich is the same phono pre amp thas has the 864. I hope it is also agood line pre as I will aso use it as line pre.

Thank you Macspur. si the same of what I hear. I can get a used one for USD 2.150 in USA. I think I will go for it.

A good decision in my view. You would have to pay a lot more to get even a little bit better. These are excellent pieces of equipment made by Yoshino to the design of the reknown Tim de Paravicini. Go for it. :)
