Dynaudio Xeo3 are these sympathetic towards source inputs?

As the title says, would I need to be careful with what cd player I match with these or are they quite forgiving? Also, has anone had a demo? If you have, what are they like?

If you plug the CD player in digitally, then in theory, no. It would be more critical if plugging it into the analogue connection, but I suspect most people are going to use the optical or the USB connection.

Thanks David. I have a trusty old Denon DCD 685 that has an optical output, so if I purchase a pair of Xeo3's it will be ok to use until more funds become available.

That should work fine. We run ours from a Sonos Connect (ZP90 in old money). Excellent
