Right ok just a bit of an update if this helps so i still have the A15 as i really wanted to stick with that Amp and ive got my AE500's back from Acoustic Energy . Still not sounding right HF is just way to sharp when you get above 50% and bass is not to my liking. So i took a punt and traded them in and lost a big chunk of change as well (oh well never mind) for a pair AE 320's all i can say is wow what a deference id say this was another really good pairing with that Amp. Nice smooth bass and mids and no sharp highs and these things really push some air when you drive them like you stole them ;-). Ive also noticed they are really well detailed as well even with low volume say 10-15% you can sill hear all the little detail/instrument separation etc. Id say that these are well worth a demo with the A5/A15 and they are pretty easy to drive as well ive seen a few reviews that say the AE320's work really well with rock and metal if thats your bag.
