Does cable matter?

I just replace my Chord Crimson interconnects with Chord Chameleon Silver Plus (had to wait 10 days to get them from UK). I defy all but the hearing impaired to not tell a difference. That's how not subtle the difference is. Both cables have great detail, but the low end kick on the Chameleon is way big. Tight, but deep. It's sweet! Loving it!

And it hasn't even "burned it" yet, LOL. Cable burn in, now that actually IS a crock...

Jax, get yourself some Chord Odyssey 2 speaker cable too! Excellent cables.

I did the same exact upgrade and the bass is in different league now...

Have a 20 euro hama interconnect + 1 euro/m (copper for positive and tinned copper for negative, 2.5mm) at 2*3 metres speaker cable. I am waiting for some atlas interconnects and speaker cables through post next week. Will post upgrade feeling/sense when i connect them. System Budget RRP 1400 pounds. Cable value 100 pounds up from 20.

Been considering that exact cable. I'm actually happy with the audioquest, but I'd like to try the Chord to compare. I will probably indulge myself, but not for awhile. Spent quite a bit lately...
