If I was starting from scratch, I would go with this:
Funny now that you mentioned it, the "I" after C disappears into the background 😂

We received our new T8 today 🙂
Nice 👍
I recall a few years ago, AliExpress was possibly the only place, you can order your Eversolo.
Funny how things have changed, many UK dealership have them, so you can buy with confidence.
Shanling and Cayin still need to make their impact in the UK, mind you it's just a matter of time.

Huffy had gone gooey over Cayin Soul valve integrated product. 😊

indeed, I however, cannot stand something that has no physical controls and needs an app on something else to run it.
No wonder it's cheap.....
I know you're old Al, but this has been happening for years and Ears. Heos from Marantz, Naim's UnitiServe and UnitiCore, Wiim, etc. The majority these days use an app as a remote control. Even things like the Eversolo, with it's huge screen, is easier on the app. Welcome to the 21st Century!

Me, I still like a volume knob, and yes I hate modern cars too when you cannot access climate control without going through a menu system..... Safety? my behind....
😎
Thinking of starting a "bring back knobs" campaign .....
PS: I love the idea of manufacturing something that will not function without you owning something manufactured by someone else.... Classic!

Watched the video a few days ago and was very impressed by the way the Chinese manufacturers are going about their business....our UK cottage industry is doomed for sure.....although it does seem that they focus on streamer /dac and headphone amplifier kit.....not really much in the way of two channel Amplifiers and Speakers or even turntables.....but if they do....decide to focus on that demographic.....well..I'm pretty sure it'll be good for us users, but for the competition in Europe and the North American sector.....they'll have to up their game and be competitive and aggressive with their pricing.....the new generation aren't really interested in audiophile quality music listening.

Really counters the cheap knock-off image many have of Chi-fi.
No Eversolo employee looked older than 25, only the MD was an old man of about 40 🙂
Plenty of British speakers knocking about in their test rooms - as we might expect.
There's two faces of Chi-fi, there's the premium Hifi which have made a name for themselves and are rooted around the globe, then there's those small manufacturers like BRZHIFI who actually make very good knock offs, I know it sounds like an oxymoron but some of the products I had from them, were really good.

Yes the usual caveats here, not encouraging people to spend their money on Chinese generic products that fall short on customer support and possible safety issues.
My DNA is overloaded with curiosity and I like surprises, not the bad ones.

Names like Fosi or Ayima came from the bowels of AliExpress but look at them now.
It's a jungle but a lot of the established Chi-fi brands are world class.
