Just picked up a 4520 , got it to replace my 12 yr old Denon AVC 11SR, decision brought on by wife and HDMI, got everything crossed the 4520 will match the old girl at the very least(the amp not the wife).

Any feed back or reassurance would be much appreciated.

Firstly well done on getting 12 years worth of service from the Denon, I myself have just replaced mine after over 8 years, like you one of the reasons was getting an amp with HDMI's so I could get high quality audio from my blu-ray player.

The 4520 looks like a great amp, top of the current range and full of features, some probably new to you, only thing I can see is that you will lose the THX sound modes that you had with the AVC 11SR but whether that matters is up to you.
