Denon AVR2310 with Monitor Audio Radius R45HD speakers

I am thinking of using the R45 HDs as ' front height' channels in a 7.1 set up.

MA R45 HD spec is :-

Frequency Response: 120 Hz - 20 KHz
Sensitivity (1W@1m): 87 dB
Nominal Impedance:8 Ohms
Power Handling Single (RMS):25 W
System Power Handling (RMS): 50 W
Recommended Amplifier Requirements: 5 - 50 W
Maximum SPL (dBA): 101

Denon AVR2310 - 135 x 7ch (6 ohms) . Would the Denon be too powerful, if used at moderate volumes?

As long as you set the crossover frequency high enough you'll be fine - about 120Hz should be ok. If you hear any bad noises coming from them because they're being driven too hard, make the corssover point higher, say, 150Hz.
