Jut wondering if someone can help, recently bought a denon 1909. My set up is, 5.1 to KEf 2005.3 speakers.

Digital tv via NTL set top box. TV has 3 optical outputs and phono ( amoung other things... 3 x HDMI )

The tv sigal is routed through scart to the tv ( unfortunately ntl only have stero at present ).

I have the analog phono connections going to the RCA TV/Cab input to the denon and

have the sourch of the denon on 'TV/CBL'.

Cant get any sound, whats up, anyone know? The maual is a disgrace, cant follow it at all!!

Thanks

Rich

sorry to make this a bit "noddy", but I assume you're using RCA phono - have you plugged them to the TV "IN" rather than "OUT" sockets (fourth along from the left side).

then take a look in the menu (INPUT SET-UP -->> input source for TV/CBL and set to Analogue Input).

This is quite useful - Denon USA have the 1909 manual linked http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/4241.asp, so you can word search (see page 39 - 44) but note this is for the US Spec, so slightly differs from the European model.
