Denon 1713 v pioneer 922 v onkyo 515

Hi,

which would you choose between:

Denon AVR 1713

Onkyo NR 515

Pioneer VSX 922

I have 4 Magnat Monitor Supreme 1000 speakers in each corner of the living room.

The unit will only be used for music (not TV) and I need Airplay.

ps. Which one is least likely to heat up and shut down in a party?

I have an AVR 1713 and I wouldn't recommend it for loud music - it shuts down regularly on overheat (I've just posted some thoughts on this very subject).

Based on my experience of AV amps for music, if you've only 4 speakers to drive for stereo music (no processing/centre speaker/sub-wooder), I would buy a hifi amp with A+B speaker outputs.
