Using a Nad C325 Bee and a Squeezebox Touch and wondered if i could improve the sound much with a Dac

Previously tried a Dacmagic about 18 months ago and sold it as i could hear no significant improvement on the Touch, whereas with my Duet there was a good improvement with the DC.

Wondered about Beresford Caiman or Bushmaster?

Any tips girls and boys?

PS speakers are Focal 714's

I run the latest Bushmaster Mark II with my Squeezebox Touch. The latest version which has only been out a couple of months is extremely good - Beresford have made improvements to both the noise floor of the DAC and the Headphone Amp.

The Bushmaster II is a complete bargain for around £200 - I think you would have to spend north of several thousand pound to get a better DAC. I have read reviews of the Bushmaster which state that it is superior to the Audiolab M-DAC.

The Touch's own DAC is not bad but the Bushmaster takes thinks up a level. My next move is start running the Bushmaster from battery power which is supposed to make the sound even better !

I've been very happy with my Bushmaster and reading on other forums the Bushmaster MkII is another jump in performance
