Why do receivers not include DAB radio?

In N. America even cheap receivers have Sat. radio, so why don't they support our UK DAB radio?

All we get is FM/AM. Considering we do not have sat. radio the receivers should be cheaper over here.

I only know of a few amps that do, expensive Denon 4308 and the cheap Yamaha RXN600Dhttp://www.hifix.co.uk/sku.lasso?it...c&-session=hifix:534315101412030DAAOYU12F458E.

I think it's probably down to the relative sizes of the UK and US markets. Oh and the belief that while these untis have radio tuners, relatively few users listen to them much.

True, I wake up to Talk Sport in the mornings but don't use the radio in the daytime like I used to. Probably because music just isn't so good as what it used to be.

On $ky satellite there are over 100 radio stations so someone must be listening somewhere.
