Cyrus 3 Advice please

I have just bought a Cyrus 3 and would like some advice. Its a 4m x 6m room and im currently streaming apple lossles files from a PC straight into the amp (bad I know)

Will a DAC give me close to CD qualitie ?

I am also looking for some budget speakers that will work well with the Cyrus, they can be second hand, floorstanders, book shelfs I havent got a preference aslong as there under £250 and give me a nice sound.

Any thoughts on the MA Bx2 ?

Any input is welcome 🙂

Oh and I listen to folky music and bands such as Red hot chillipeppers and arctic monkeys

i guess you are using a 3.5mm jack > 2 RCA cable into your amp!

It by all means is not a bad as you think, your PCs soundcard will be perfoming the DAC duty, the addition of a proper hifi DAC will pay dividends!

Well Ive been looking on the second hand market at the Dacmagic 100 and the Beresford caimen, any good? I was looking at about £150
