Hi, in the 2 channel stereo/direct set up menu on my denon 2808, you can set up the crossover frequency for the sub to take over. What would you set it to for tv watching with the subwoofer in use, my speakers are monitor audio BR2's. Would it be 80hz like most people seem to use for surround sound or something else.?

Yep i know they go down to 42hz, but some say you cant believe speaker specs very often. Also the question is what frequencies does tv in general get down to anyway, i wonder if anyone knows the answer.

Also what does the LFE+MAIN setting on a receiver actually do, manual's dont often explain it very well.?

It's preferable to select a higher frequency crossover than that mencioned in the specs of the speaker. LFE+ main= low frequency (subwoofer)+ main speakers.
