Creek Evolution 5350

A friend from Spain is coming over to the UK next week determined to buy a Creek Evloution 5350 integrated amp based upon reviews he has read and his experience with other Creek products. Do any of you have any feedback on this product I can share with him ? Thanks

I've heard the Evo2 amp which is fabulous. It is attacking and nicely detailed with the most wonderful remote. It oozes quality. Unfortunately the example I heard was brand new and hadn't opened up fully. I would think the 5350 is like the Evo with a bit extra in its tank.

The only caveat with Creek in general is the lack of inputs and will need fairly careful speaker matching. Otherwise, fab.

He has KEF Q700's - any good with the Creek ??

Having only heard the old IQ series, I would imagine so, but can't say with any certainty.

You could also put Epos speakers into the mix, from the same stable and apparently a good match with Creek amps.

For example, he might be able to pick up a pair of ex-demo M22i's like mine for a good price, as I did from Superfi.
