Tori Amos > The Stranglers - Strange Little Girl

:O NFW

Hard to say any cover is better than the original but one's i like

The Passions i'm in love with a German Film Star covered by Dave Grohl

The Who's Behind Blue Eyes covered by Limp Bizkit

Irish traditional song Whiskey in the jar covered by Metallica

U2's So Cruel covered by Depeche Mode

U2's Zoo Station covered by Nine Inch Nails

David Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World covered by Kurt Cobain

Lords of the new church's Dance with me covered by Nouvelle Vague

On the last group Nouvelle Vague they are a cover group from France and alot of there covers are great in there own right.

+1 Johnny Cash - Hurt

Imelda May - Tainted Love. Which is way better than Softcell's version. But Gloria Jones's original gives it a close run. We will not mention Marilyn Manson's attempt.

Marilyn Manson's is awesome!

Flaming Lips cover of Fitst Time Ever I Saw Your Face :)

I love the Flaming Lips, and that is one mad cover version, but I do prefer Roberta Flack's cover personally

gel, leave the rock alone (I do like some rock and metal honestly), and come to the funky side of life

JTQ - Starsky & Hutch theme http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk4wxIOaJnM

I'm pretty set in my ways with what I like and don't like, I do like some stuff that is not rock though.

Click on a few of my links, especially Brian Auger Indian Rope Man, you've gotta love that

Nice one gel. Rock fans will always be rock fans, so I'm not expecting you to be fully converted, but I do love these tunes, and they're worth a listen if you haven't heard them before.

Personally, I was converted from goth, to anything but goth
