Just three days to go until we reveal all 100 winners in the 2012 What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Awards on Friday, October 19th. Our lips are sealed until then, but in the meantime, what do you think will win, and why?

Panasonic 50GT50 because it is the best TV at the price and because it is a TV that finally manages to match a Pioneer for performance. :cheer:

Readers Award to Logitech Squeezebox (unless it's been pulled due to Logitech no longer making it).

Marantz M-CR603 (Best Micro-system £400+) as in 2011. I am not aware of any comparably priced, comparably spec'ed competition that has come along since last year.

Denon D-M39DAB for under £400 micro-system.

I think Panasonic still make the best 32" LED TVs (for picture quality anyway). Maybe the TX-L32ET5B.

Rega RP6/Exact for best £1000 turntable/cartridge package.

NaimUniti 2 is bound to get something.

Cyrus will get two or three gongs.

KEF LS50 is bound to get an award.

Audiolab M-DAC (again).

THE WINNERS ARE:

Who ever pays Haymarket the most for their advertising space

Take a powder, Mr Beachams – that's a suggestion as ridiculous as it is ancient and entirely without any foundation.

It may happen elsewhere, but it doesn't here: indeed, our advertising staff were only told the winners on the day of our Awards presentation, when everything was done and dusted – and there was some definite wailing and gnashing of teeth from them at some of our decisions!

I think Sony TVs are going to do quite well but I would like to Panasonic dominate in their strong fields. Blu -ray players - cheap will go to Sony - expensive might be Oppo. The new PV1 will win and the B&W package too.

The Phillips 21:9 TVs for doing something different. 21:9 & Ambilight.

Bonus is, theyre strong contenders on PQ too.

But Panasonics must be front runners.

Would be nice to see a rank outsider, tested at the 11th hour. It happened a couple of years ago with the Yamaha A-S500. Otherwise, it'll probably be the usual protaganists.

Like this for “Best CD player up to £500” perhaps?

AKG K451 headphones (simply brilliant all-rounder)

Cambridge Audio Azur 851C + 851A

Kef LS50 / Dynaudio Xeo

Project Debut Carbon

Pioneer N50

(Because they are all very good value for money, and got into this years EISA awards!)

Oh, and the Audioquest Dragonfly ('cos its 'bril and lots of people are going to buy one) :)

Given the tradition with WhatHiFi, do the winners keep their awards or do they sell them on FleaBay a few days later?

Winners:

Unitiqute at £999 is incredible value for money. Unitilite may pip it for POTY.

Audiolab 8200CD looks a shoe-in.

Apple iTouch 5 may be the late entry steaming in. What makes it unique is that it is an Apple product that deserves 5 stars!

Yamaha RX-V673 for AV under £500.

Rival Sons for Best New Band

Squeezebox Touch for posthumous VC and 21 gun salute.

Four correct, one runner up and only one non-runner.

Do I win a prize?
