Connection problems - BluRay/Onkyo 605 to Sony Bravia

Hi

Sorry for asking what may be an apparently obvious question but since buying the 605 I want to know the best way of connecting this amp to my:

Sony Bravia
BD30
HD DVD EP30

Will a HDMI connection from both sources give me the picture and audio quality I am looking for or is there a better way involving splitting the picture and sound (picture through my HDMI splitter and sound through the 605?).

Any advice appreciated.

The HDMI route is the best way to do it with this set-up.
