Hi,

I am about to buy Pana-TH42PZ800 Tele, DMP-BD55 Bluray player, and I already have Sony DAV-DZ260 - 5.1 ch Home Cinema and SkyHD+ Box....

Can anyone advice me of "professional quality" connections between the gadgets to get the "best output possible!"

and what cables would i need to achieve this ?

regards,

To be frank the tv and blu ray deserve a better amp and speakers to really exploit your blu's. and get one that can switch video to make life a breeze.

As for now you will need an hdmi from sky to tv, hdmi from blu to tv and probably an optical from sky to sony amp or from blu to amp. Unfortunately your amp is limited by it's lack of inputs.

Dont waste money on expensive hdmi's a well built £10 one will do the job.

I agree with hi-fi nut.

Would you not consider buying a Sony DG820 Receiver for less than £250.

With that in the setup you would only need 3 hdmi connections, one each from Sky-HD and BD player to Receiver, and one out from Receiver to TV. You would also require one optical from Sky HD box to receiver to take the DD sound.
