Hello everyone. Some advice please. I'm looking to set-up a Tannoy Mercury F1 Custom with a MJ Acoustics Referance 100 Sub (apprantly they've ran out of their own Tannoy subs) to a Onkyo SR606 / SR875 amp and just read that there is a connector cable required for the sub-woofer, presumably to the amp. Is this the standard speaker cable ie:- QED Silver Anniversary or something completely different ? Is it unique to certain sub-woofers ? What lengths do the cables come in ? As you can tell I'm relatively new to this game and want to get it right. All the cables are going to be chased into walls you see and no room for error. Can anyone help ??

No it's a single interconnect cable rather than a speaker cable, with a phono plug on each end.

You can buy then in whatever length you need, and the connections are standard, so any phono-to-phono cable can be used.

The sub needs to be connected via a co-ax cable. They do them in various lengths. If you ask for a sub cable at any A/V store, they'll know what you require, and you can decide on which cable and which length you require for your budget.
