I am looking to spend around £1000 on upgrading my AV speaker package. Currently I have a Denon AVR 3808 paired with Tannoy Mercury F1 custom 5.1. I have upgraded the sub to MJ Acoustics Reference 100 Mk II.
I was looking initially at the following packages:
B&W 685 Theatre (Probably too large)
MA Bronze BX2 5.1
Then I had a thought that the sub I have is fairly decent, so maybe I just need to upgrade the bookshelf speakers and centre.
I like the look of the Tannoy Revolution Signature DC4 bookshelf speakers and centre.
The setup normally has the DC4T Fronts, DC4 Rears and DC4 LCR Centre. I don’t think I could accommodate the DC4T Fronts in my lounge. Would having four DC4 bookshelf speakers work with the DC4 LCR Centre and my sub?
If not does any one have any good suggestions for bookshelf speaker and centre upgrades?
