Connecting JAMO SUB 200 to Technics SU V 505 amplifier

Hello, could someone please suggest the easiest way to connect the above ? Due to the age of the amplifier is does not have a SUB OUT connection. . I am worried I could cause damage by incorrect connection. My main speakers are B & W DM7s. Many thanks.

Hello Barry.
Use the 'speaker level in' inputs on the sub.
Connect from the 'remote' speaker outputs of the Technics and have both the SUV-505 main and remote speaker terminals switched on.

Unless things have changed, the tape out is at a fixed level so you would not be able to change volume of the sub as you change the volume of the speakers.

That is the right answer.
It is a powered sub. The speaker level inputs are not used to draw power. Basically it is a high to low voltage converter reducing the speaker level signal to line input level. They have a high impedance so can be connected in parallel with your speakers without damaging your amp.
