Connect macbook to samsung!

I asked an earlier question about connecting my macbook to a new tv (as yet unbought). I received some excellent advice (thanks!) about buying a miniDVI to DVI adaptor and then a DVI to HDMI cable. However, when I bought this adaptor, the guy in the mac store told me that I had to be careful what TV I bought as I needed to guarantee that it would be able to pick up the audio from the Mac, otherwise it would simply play from the laptop speaker. The TV I was planning on buying is a Samsung LE26A456. I've asked in my local Currys and the guys in the shop looked at me like I was speaking martian. Can anybody advise?

Audio isn't passed over a DVI connection so you'll need to hook up the sound over one of your other connections be it digital or analogue.
