WHAT FUSE DO i need how do i know my mains are 240 volt but my mains are ether 20 amp or 10 amp does this mean anything help

It's the device you will be using the mains lead with you need to check this with. It should be in the manual somewhere, or, if you can find out the power consumption (in Watts), you can calculate the current it will draw.

Sorry I have not been on the forums recently.

Professorhat is correct that the fuse needed will depend upon the component being powered. Firstly, do check the manual of your equipment as this may give advice as to what rating of fuse your component requires. If the manual does not list the rating of fuse required then you can check the fuse fitted to the supplied factory power cable.
