Chosing new speakers...

I've been building my system over a couple of years now and my next upgrade will be my speakers. Im currently using a complete Usher Audio front end (CD1 cdp, P307apre, and 2x R1.5pwr amps) JBL TL260 speakers. I feel the speakers hold back the kit mainly in low level detail and bass definition, but like their general sound. Im really looking for something that will make the most of what i have. The room is 8m x 6.5 so space isnt an issue.any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Usher speakers would be my first port of call......

You have a good sized listening room ....

Celestion Ditton 66 .... these may sell for between £600-£700

Usher makes electronics? Learn something new everyday. Is this the same Usher that makes tiny dancers? I had no idea.

Yeah, I'd say the BE-718 or the new diamond version would be a good choice...

That was my first option but my girlfriend doesn't like the looks...Though i do like the sound...others i considered were the adam audio passives
