My experiences with the Tacima have all been negative. When I plugged my plasma TV into it and my Xbox 360 (separate occasions, different sockets in the room) it introduced a ground loop for my left and right speakers. A bog standard surge protected mains block got rid of the buzz each time. It'll be going on EBay soon.

Ok ,day 2 of the Tacima challenge. Mono blocks only.

Yip for sure a slight difference , a slight buzzing through the ruddy tweeters , great start. Had to get the old lughole up really close but twas enough to pee me off. So plonked the damn thing as far away from the transformers as possible , better but no cigar.

So off we go again. Amps had been blasting away all morning so switching between wall and Tacima was a couple of minutes tops* ,therefore no cold valves or transformers etc to cloud things if you get me.

Nope , I couldnt make out a bean of difference between the two.

Game over.

* have to wait a minute or so for the soft start to reset.
