Hopefully this will stop the shuddering effect I get from the BBC's HD channels on Sky but I doubt it.

That's your poor TV choice. Sell it to me ? ;)

I don't think it is the TV, as none of the SkyHD channels do it and whilst the ITVHD channels do do it very very occasionally, it's only the BBCHD channels where it's really frequent (every few seconds) and therefore much more noticeable.

It doesn't do it on blu-ray either.

Hello

Would a shipping condition reset on the Panny DMR wipe out recordings? The TV came back to life after a shipping reset, so thanks for that tip.

I don't own one so can't confirm it, but from what i've read elsewhere a shipping condition reset does appear to preserve recordings. Though it will delete any recording schedules, series links etc, so i would make a note of them before doing a reset.

No, your recordings on the HDD will be OK, but as daveh75 says all other settings will have to be reset.

Thanks daveh75 and Laserman16

I reset this morning and the DMR has x2 BBC HD's again. I took digi-photos of the TV and DMR settings before doing the reset which helped getting things back to previous settings.

Cheers
