I got a Pioneer PD-Z570T player from my parents, together with a graphic equalizer, amplifier and turntable (all from Pioneer). The turntable is playing as it should. However, the cd player is not working. Both of the cd trays open and close correctly, but the player doesn't start spinning and is not able to read any cd. This is the display when a cd is inserted.
It worked when I tried it in August. Since then everything has been lying in a cupboard in my living room, disconnected, so obviously nothing happened to the cd player, it didn't get bumped e.g.
Does anyone have a clue what could be the problem and how it can be fixed?
