cd player needed - advise please

hi

although i usually use my laptop via DAC, i miss having a cd player to use at parties and when my laptop is busy doing other things.

i'm looking at 2nd hand cd players, but was wondering how the older ones do with playing CDR and CDR/W? i would presume that any basic cd player made after year 2000, prob earlyer, can cope with copied disk, or is this not the case?

any recomendations for a fairly cheap cdplayer? 2nd hand would be best.

If you want good price to quality performance, many i know including me are happy with the Chinese tubed MHZS CD players. The CD33 is very fine.

You might find a dealer or two in England, easy for waranty and service. I ordered my MHZS from cattylink. You have to pay for shipping and exporting then but price is still low when compared to some other CD players.
