CD player Dilemma

My front end is vinyl, but I have quite a lot of
CDs. Last month after the demise of my Mirantz CD player I purchased a
Denon CD 500 E , with which I'm not very happy with. I have been
recently offered a very good used Arcam Alpha 7 as a replacement in exchange for the Denon, should I take it or
not, it will cost me one hundred Euros more, but will it be worth it?

The rest of my set-up is an Onkyo pre/power combo, P304 pre amp and M504 power amp, seakers are Sonus Faber Minuetos bi wired with Kimber 4TC cable. The denon has Cord Cobra interconnect.

Why did you buy the Denon in the frst place? And are you simply using the same risky criteria for replacing it - i.e not using your ears?

SteveR750 has a point! listen before you buy or u'll run the risk or anoter wastfull mistake
