Hi,

I have a Tannoy Signature Revolution DC4T set up for my home cinema and I'm now in the market for a decent stereo amp and CD player to fit into the system.

I have about 2000 to spend.

I auditioned the Cyrus 8vs2 and 8 SE combo (but not with my speakers) and was impressed by their clarity, however I do fear that the DC4Ts might be a little bright for the Cyrus. Has anyone had any experience with Cyrus and Tannoy Sig Rev pairing?

Any suggestions of any amps and CD players that will match well with these towers would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

BCK

Well Primare have got a bit dear nowadays but you should always listen to the i21/cd21 pair (or go the whole hog and get the 30 series for another grand

). Others to hear:

Naim nait 5i/Cd5i
Roksan Kandy K2(?)
Creek Destiny has got a bit dear for you, but maybe somebody'll do a deal.
Rega Apollo/Mira/Maia combo would be good.

But of course, what you really need is a NaimUniti

I think i'm in love with the stylings of the Primare i30 and CD31 - going to arrange an audition and start saving!

and the balanced inputs are a real treat :)

Has anyone one out there heard this Primare set with the Tannoys?
