caspian mono blocks, w-hf staff maybe?

i'm going to be changing my components in a few weeks and had been considering a primare i30 or caspian integrated. however, if the pre in the dac i'm after is any good i would have gone for the poweramp from the manufacturer whose integrated i prefered.

but, i was looking at the roksan site and saw the specs of their mono amps and wow! 80 amp current delivery and a damping factor of 400!! what i want to know is if they sound radically different to the stereo power amp, as the current delivery and damping factor are very different (50 amp and d/f 140). i have seen a couple of places selling the mono amps for £900 each, which isn't much more then the primare a33.2 i could potentially go for. there's nowhere locally i can demo them so would love to see any opinions on them.

hmmm, just had a quick look at the mags review of the caspian stereo poweramp, and the text is the review of the mono amp. so i guess i know what the mag thought of that now.
