I can become cheap a demo Cardas Crosslink interconnect. I have now a Van Damme. I find Cardas normally too pricey.

Is this interconnect better than the Van Damme?

The answer is either 'no, they sound the same / so similar you couldn't reliably tell the difference', or 'better is subjective and only you can say'. Either way, for you to decide.

This is a difficult question to give a definitive answer to.

It depends on your system, whether you believe cables make a difference, and if they do, whether the difference is worth paying for (which depends on what your paying for the cable).

I am a big Cardas fan and think they are sweet, natural sounding, musical cables; whereas others find them too warm and not detailed enough. If you are asking my personal (biassed) view, it would be to get them (if at a good price), and sell them on (or return them) if not happy.

The Crosslink is the cheapest of the Cardas range and often sold off the roll and terminated by the dealer....so if this is the case, check it is done well, and that Cardas connectors are used.

For the same price as the crosslink i can also become a Cardas Microtwin interconnect. Better than the Crosslink or no difference?

I am guessing that there is not a lot of difference, though the Microtwin is a little more expensive and thinner....can you take the advice of the dealer?
