Canton DM 50 - Remote Control Issues

Hello Everyone,

I purchsased the Canton DM 50 a few days ago.

The sound is nice, but the remote control is really weak and won't work unless its directly in front of the system. This means that when I'm sitting on my sofa I can't use the remote cause the sofa is a bit to the side of the TV.

Anyone else experiencing issues with the DM 50 remote?

Mine is (was) the same. You can make the unit learn the coding for your standard TV remote to control volume etc. i found this the best option. My Samsung TV remote would adjust the volume on the DM50 from all over the room, however the canton remote was very much a 'point straight at box from close range affair).

I can't remember the exact method, but I know it's written in the manual (which you can find from a Google search).
