:rockout: just after a bit of technical help/advice if anyone can help.have already left a post a little while ago with regards the above question. can the old denon dm38 or the new dm39 drive floorstanders successfully without struggling or causing long term damage to either speaker or source? i've had a few replies to the old post,& i thank you all for your input but still i'm a little bit confused if the denon & it's 30w a channel is enough to drive either tannoy mercury v4's,wharfedale diamond 10.3'3 or boston accoustics a250's. would it be better to look at a system with a higher power output? again any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks, boyo

Hi boyo68 my Son ran my mission 752s on his denon for a while they sounded pretty good You should be ok so long as you dont play at high volumes as this will cause distortion and will end up causing amp/speaker damage
